Children’s Day Message: Fathers, Be Present
Children’s Day message should not only be about gifts, pictures, and greetings.
It should also remind us that every child needs love, attention, safety, guidance, and memories that will stay with them for life.
Today, I Celebrate My Children and Every Child in the World
Children are not just little people living in our homes.
They are living gifts.
They are fresh hope.
They are future leaders.
Also, they are beautiful reminders that life still carries innocence, laughter, and endless possibilities.
Today, I celebrate my children with all my heart.
You are my joy.
You are my motivation.
You are my strength.
You are one of the biggest reasons I keep pushing every day.
Watching you grow, laugh, learn, ask questions, make mistakes, and become better remains one of the greatest blessings of my life.
To Every Child in the World
To every child in the world, you are special.
You are loved.
You are important.
You are not too small to matter.
Your dreams are valid.
Your voice deserves to be heard.
Your future is worth protecting.
No child should grow up feeling unwanted, unseen, or unloved.
Every child deserves a home where love is spoken.
Every child deserves a society where safety is not a luxury.
In addition, every child deserves adults who listen, guide, protect, and believe in them.
A Special Message to Fathers
But today, I also want to speak to fathers.
Dear fathers, please make time for your children.
Yes, life is busy.
Work is demanding.
Bills are waiting.
Responsibilities are heavy.
Pressure is real.
However, one truth remains: your children will not remain children forever.
That little child asking you to play today may grow up tomorrow and stop asking.
That child waiting for your attention today may later learn how to live without it.
Also, that child who wants to talk, laugh, run, play, and disturb you now is not trying to waste your time.
That child is asking for connection, not perfection.
Fatherhood Is Deeper Than Money
Being a father is not only about providing food, school fees, clothes, and shelter.
Those things are important.
Still, fatherhood is deeper than money.
Be present.
Play with them.
Laugh with them.
Listen to them.
Teach them.
Correct them with love.
Create memories with them.
Let them know that daddy is not only a provider.
Let them know that daddy is also a safe place.
Be Their Father and Their Best Friend
Apart from being their parent and father, also become their best friend.
A child who can play with you will find it easier to talk to you.
A child who feels safe around you will find it easier to open up to you.
More importantly, a child who grows with your love will carry your wisdom even when you are not there.
Many fathers think children only remember big gifts.
But children also remember simple things.
They remember the day you played football with them.
They remember when you carried them on your shoulder.
They remember when you listened to their little stories.
They remember when you laughed with them.
They remember when you corrected them without breaking their spirit.
Those memories become emotional security.
Children Need Presence, Not Just Presents
So, as we celebrate Children’s Day, let us not only buy gifts and take pictures.
Let us make a decision to become more available.
Let us become more patient.
Let us become more loving.
Also, let us become more intentional.
Because a gift can make a child happy for one day, but your presence can shape that child for life.
Children do not need perfect fathers.
They need fathers who try.
They need fathers who show up.
They need fathers who listen.
They need fathers who care.
My Prayer for My Children and All Children
To my children and all the children across the world:
May your light never go dim.
May your dreams never die.
May you grow in wisdom, confidence, peace, and purpose.
May the world become kinder, safer, and better for you.
May you never lose your innocence too early.
May you always find love, guidance, and protection.
And may your future be brighter than anything we have seen before.
De Auditor’s Bitter Truth
Christian James Unya, known as De Auditor, has spoken.
The bitter truth is this: many fathers are present in the house but absent in the life of their children.
They pay bills, but they do not play.
They provide food, but they do not listen.
They buy clothes, but they do not create memories.
They correct children, but they do not build friendship.
This must change.
Fatherhood is not only a title. It is a daily responsibility.
Money can feed a child, but love raises a child.
Shelter can cover a child, but presence shapes a child.
So, fathers, make time.
One day, your children will not remember every bill you paid. But they will remember how you made them feel.
Happy Children’s Day to my beautiful children and to every child in the world.
You are loved.
You are precious.
You are the future.
