The Kidnapper
Governor don show say e serious!
The Edo State Governor has ordered the immediate destruction of the house belonging to a notorious kidnapper leader in Ubiaja, Edo State. The operation was carried out by Padi Noah and his squad.
The Kidnapper Leader The man at the centre of the matter is Jero — an old man identified as a leader of kidnappers in the area. His house has now been demolished on the governor’s directive.
Mixed Reactions While many people hail the governor’s action as a strong message against kidnapping, others are calling out Padi Noah and his squad for alleged bias. They claim the team is very active in places like Ubiaja but “once e reach Benin City matter, they too dey biased.”
Many are urging them to apply the same energy across the entire state, especially in Benin City where insecurity and kidnapping remain serious problems.
Truth Delivered Destroying the house of a kidnapper leader is a welcome move. Kidnappers have caused too much pain in Edo State — collecting ransom, destroying families, and killing innocent people. An old man like Jero still involved in kidnapping is a fool and a disgrace to humanity.
However, the government must be consistent. If they destroy houses in Ubiaja, they should do the same wherever kidnappers operate — no sacred cows, no bias.
Parents, monitor your children. Youths, kidnapping is not hustle — it is wickedness with deadly consequences. The government must continue to crush these criminal networks without fear or favour.
