What Happened on Uzo Mmiri Road?
A man was killed today on Uzo Mmiri Road, near JMJ Lodge area in Imo State, in what eyewitnesses and community members are describing as a cult-related attack. The victim — whose identity has not yet been officially confirmed — was found dead at the scene, a stark and painful reminder of the wave of cultism and street violence that continues to plague the South-East region.
The incident is the latest in a long line of cult-related killings that have turned once-peaceful communities in Imo State into danger zones. No arrest has been reported at the time of this publication.
