A survivor of the deadly kidnapping incident in Ekpoma, Edo State yesterday evening has come out to narrate exactly what happened. His story is heartbreaking.
Survivor’s Own Account In a video making rounds, the young survivor, still in shock and showing his gunshot wound, explained:
“They stopped us. Immediately we noticed they were kidnappers, my friend tried to escape. They started shooting. They shot my friend multiple times and killed him on the spot.
As I tried to run, they shouted ‘lie down! lie down!’ As I moved, they shot two bullets after me. I was lucky to escape with injury.”
He showed the fresh bullet wound on his foot while recounting how the attackers showed no mercy.
